Lalo Rodríguez (real first name Ubaldo), born in Carolina, Puerto Rico is a salsa musician. In 1973, when he was 16 years old, he was the singer on Eddie Palmieri's Grammy winning album "Sun Of The Latin Music". A year later he sang on "Unfinished Master Piece", also with Palmieri, who gave him his arstist's name. He also worked with Machito. In 1980, he went solo. He has been compared to other famous salsa musician such as Eddie Santiago, Jose Alberto, and Frankie Ruiz. His activity since the millennium, however, has decreased.
